White Rock, Vancouver

Today I arrived in Canada for the first time in 5 years! As we were flying in over the west coast of Canada, I commented to my new friend Farah that if I cry she couldn't blame me! This country is even more beautiful than I remember.

My good friend Monica picked me up from Vancouver airport and of course she took me for an iced cap from Tim Hortons!! It's been so great to get to spend today with her and just catch up and become friends all over again!

We went to White Rock for a wander and dinner it's gorgeous! So stunning and picturesque! We saw rabbits and black squirrels on the side of the road! We watched as a group of fisher people pulled up their crab trap to reveal a MASSIVE female crab and because she was a she they had to throw her back into the Pacific.

From this pier you can see the USA border and their small " most boring town ever" (hehe Monica's beautiful description). It reminds me of where Free Willy jumped over the rocks to be free lol!

And the beautiful HUGE homes on the shoreline.

We also visited WALMART. I'm not sure what to say about this store except that it is also MASSIVE.
Oh and you can buy trees for $11.00

Mon says there are 2 sayings I said all day :
1) It's just so HUGE!
2) it's just so Canadian

So Canadians, loving the culture of Canada and all it has to offer at such a crazy huge size and scale of life! Beautiful day to start the trip and I pray good weather continues to follow me for the next 2 months!
