So after getting the surprise of my life where Devon magically appears in Canada and suddenly proposes, we introduced Devon to Tim Hortons then we spent the remainder of the day inside (it was sooooo hot!) working on our engagement video to announce to everyone what had happened!
Around dinner time all 6 of us went to the keg for dinner! My first time ever there maaaan the peppercorn steak is AMAZING.
We told our waitress that we got engaged and she brought us an amazing coffee cheesecake!
Then Aunty Niki and uncle Bruce and dev and I went for the walk along the waterfront! What a spectacular walk. There was so much to see and it was so clean!
JANELLEY! She was walking along the waterfront too!! Then we walked along the water all together!
That night we finally got the engagement video posted up on Facebook after ALOT of work!
Then we crashed in the man cave and were EXHAUSTED!
SATURDAY.
We had a nice easy start and morning where we all just hung out together for a while then went off to Aunty Lorraine + Uncle johns for a big family lunch! It was sooooo good to see them! I've always loved their homes and how amazing their stories and lives are! We also had alot of fun with Brent's littlest boy! He's sooo cute! There will be alot of photos of him..... And we also picked berries :)
Then that evening we hit Dispicable me 2 and laughed the whole way through it! Those minions are soooo funny!
SUNDAY.
In the morning we went to uncle bruce and aunty nikis Minanite church service which was really sweet! It was mostly older attendees and the sermon was a story :) it was really cute!
Then that afternoon we had the get together BBQ :) it was so perfect and it was awesome to see everyone and have so many people meet Devon :)
We went to an alumni game which ended up being so much better than a season game because I recognised quite a few of the players!
Uncle Bruce and I bet on a whole bunch of jerseys and we won! Uncle Bruce got the pink one for Aunty Niki and one of the signed ones and I won a signed one too!! (The forth uncle Bruce already owned) so we had enough jerseys to all be some posers!
Before heading home we stopped at Walmart to find props for the engagement photoshoot with Royce the next day! We had so much fun running around through Walmart and playing with EVERYTHING we found!
MONDAY.
Today was a day for Shopping! Yay! Had to take my boy shopping and we found him heaps of new clothing items! Then Aunty Niki and I got our nails done for a wee pampering moment (a gift from grandma and grandpa put towards that evenings photoshoot)
Then we rushed home and ate and got all dressed up then it was time to go to the photoshoot. I was quite nervous going into it... Both dev and I are not usually on this end of the camera, but we ended up having so much fun! The photos were taken at Bottega (my new fav spot in Kelowna!) where there was alpacas and so many photo opportunities! Here's a few shots my uncle got of us (just a sneak preview!)

And on the way home we had to stop and watch the wind surfers in the sunset of course!
TUESDAY.
Cheese curds. We got squeaky cheese on Tuesday. Because we went to EAGLE BAY! Whoop woop! And what a gorgeous day to go to eagle bay! We enjoyed getting there, taking our time and stopping quite a bit along the way! Jenny drove us (dev, myself and Nell) and the sun was out all day and everything was just so beautiful. It was a gorgeous ride! We could see the mountains way off in the distance!
We stopped for cheese curds! In Armstrong!
Then we made it to eagle bay :)

Then we wet kayaking! It was awesome and I ended up swimming the majority of the way while pushing my kayak because the water was just so so nice and I wanted to swim lol! And the blue dragon flies were EVERYWHERE. They were beautiful!
Then it was archery time.

Haha we had a fantastic day together :) I am soooo glad and thankful the four of us got to be together for a whole day uninterrupted!
We had dinner at camp and got to see a handful of people but none of us really knew very many staff members there anymore! They are all a bunch of youngins! But was awesome to see the cyrs and Zach trigg!
Then we headed to the drive in movies where dev and I were to be dropped off with my aunt and uncle for an evening of old school fun! The movies playing were monsters university and Lone Ranger! They are such awesome movies! And we didn't get home until like 3am! We were exhausted!
WEDNESDAY
Becausae of the late night before, we got to Sleep in! Woohoo!
Then it was one of my favourite days in the Okanagan, we went down the penticton canal!!
I swam 85% of the way lol...
And I had fun with uncle Bruce's waterproof camera!
That evening Larry and sherry took Devon and I on an evening dinner cruise around the Okanagan lake! It was so beautiful and such a fantastic way to see the Okanagan! Unfortunately I left my camera at home :( and I also started to feel very sun strokey :( so I had to cancel our plans for an outing with Teala and Sarah but they still came over to our house to visit for an hour or two and that was awesome to get to catch up with them!
THURSDAY.
Tony lent us his Mustang convertible for the day and we picked it up at 930 and dev and I treated Aunty Niki and uncle Bruce to a really really great breakfast at a golf club resort thingy in westbank! It was a great little spot and we really enjoyed our breaki!

Then we took dev on a peachland tour and one of our first stops was to see these beauties!
Then we went for a Peachland tour where I showed dev my homes, my schools and other little bits and pieces around peachland. We each got a turn driving the mustang (just around a small block twice! Convinced me that I'd like a nice car!) then we returned the car and headed to the beach for the afternoon, it's so nice that dev got to see all my Canadian home and spots. I found this dy really rally special.
We went to see Judys beautiful new home! It was gorgeous! I'm so happy for her, and she even found a spare antler lying around for me to take home!! I got an antler!

Then we hit Boston pizza to give dev even more of a Canadian day! He loved his ribs and I got this fantastic pasta! So cheesy..... Yum!
And we finished devons last day off with some shopping and then we all attached ourselves to the man cave!
FRIDAY.
Dev and i went for a Walk through downtown Kelowna while Aunty Niki and uncle Bruce were busy :) it was our first chance to get some us time and we really enjoyed exploring downtown Kelowna.
We met Aunty Niki and uncle Bruce at Kelly Os to get pachos for lunch! They were soooo tasty and even better than I remembered!
Then we stopped by Orchard park to see if dev wanted to buy anything else and of course we had to get Cinzeo cinnamon buns!!
Then we had no choice but to take devon to the Airport :( his time was up and he had to fly home. We had such a good week together and I loved that he got to meet so many important people in my life and see where I grew up!
Then I was absolutely shattered and I vegged in the man cave from 5-12 lol! And nelley came to join me around 8 and we both fell asleep there lol but I woke up and then we had to say our good byes :( I hate saying bye to nelly! It was so good to see her and where she is and what she's doing now!
SATURDAY.
The morning was spent Packing up the car so we wouldn't be too rushed and then we had the whole day free! Uncle Bruce dropped Aunty Niki and I off at the Kelowna beach and we just sat and enjoyed the hot weather for a good long time! Jenny came to see us and then we also had to say our good byes :( I really hated saying good bye to Jenny too! It was so much fun to hang out and explore BC with Jenny!
Then uncle bruce and aunty niki took me off to see one last movie... RED2! What an awesome movie! It was so funny and Bruce Willis did a great job!
Then for my last night in canada we watched Legally blonde + i made (and devoured...) pillsbury cookies! They were fantastic!
Canada was so much fun and I loved every single day there! Honestly there wasn't anything that I wished had been different or done something else. It was a great holiday!

Off to Disneyland!
