So Many Nichols! ($1.15 to be exact....)

MONDAY.

Monday was a rough day! I was travelling through Alberta from 730am-930pm! That's a lot of driving around!

Kelly dropped me off at the Red Arrow bus service early in the morning and I was so exhausted I drifted in and out of sleep the whole bus ride!

I arrived in Edmonton and after following Uncle Chris and Aunty Jeamie's van around a parking lot (they didn't see me and I saw them so I was following them around for a while! It was quite funny! Took me walking down the middle of the road towards them for them to recognise me hehe!) we were off!

Well we stopped for lunch first and it was so great getting to meet little Everette, Silhis and Niya. We liked each other instantly and it made for a very fun car ride!

I helped them take photos for a while using my really nice camera!

They are so cute and funny! They had me giggling away!

Gorgeous Everette,

And adorable Si,

Then I forgot to get one of the lovely Niya because we just talked too much!

Made for a very fun car ride!

Then we made it to Beaverlodge! Where Grandma was waiting for us with delicious taco mixings and Grandpa waiting with hugs and teasing remarks! It was such a great day, starting off my family time with the Nichols.

TUESDAY.

After a huge sleep (I slept in until around 11! But I did wake up at 530 when the sun was rising, it was a beautiful sunrise but I didn't get any photos! They sky was ORANGE such an intense orange!) I woke up to more playing wight the kids and chatting with grandparents and Aunty Jeamie and Uncle Chris.

Just a warning, this post will mostly be photos of my cousins! They are just so cute!

We had a picnic planned so all the family could get together, and we met up with Uncle Cam, Aunty Janelle, Ethan, Avery and little Piper. It may have rained a bit but we stuck it out and eventually even the sun met us :)

This is the river that we picnicked next to

Little Everette slept for the better part of the first hour she was so cute! (And Aunty Jeamie's so pretty!)

And grandma and grandpa had a competition to make the best fire! Lol (Grandma used only 1 match and quite a bit of kindling while grandpa used 2 matches and much less kindling!)

Then we were greeted by a squirrel while we roast hotdogs and made s'mores!

Me and grandma :)

And me and grandpa (:

Then the girls and I picked wild flowers and I "made it rain flowers" (just through piles of flowers over them!)

Everette had that hotdog in her hand for about an hour maybe an hour and a half lol!

So cute!

Then we played on the swings :)

And played on the giant tire!

Then we headed home and I went for a drive on the quad! And chased the sunshine :)

WEDNESDAY.

I woke up and it smelled like my childhood.

I Donno if I need to say much more than this.

Except I was joined by munchkins! And we all gobbled up grandmas cinnamon buns like there was no tomorrow!

Then grandma, Aunty Jeamie and I packed up all 6 kids and went to the Grande Prairie pools! There's a lazy river which is like a whirl pool that's winding down a crazy path throughout the massive building, there was a slide with tubes and a normal slide there was obstical courses and hot tubs. Huge huge place! And let me just say, swimming with kids is way way way more fun than swimming with adults! I had SUCH a good time!

Then we went to uncle cams and Aunty janelles for pizza (which was delicious!) then headed home for ice cream and more cinnamon buns. And when all the littlest cousins went to bed, grandpa, Ethan, Avery and I played rumi! I couldn't believe that grandpa hadn't taught them rumi yet! So it was slow paced but so awesome to play the old traditional game with Grandpa :)

THURSDAY.

Thursday was shopping day!
Aunty Jeamie and grandma and I went shopping. We hit Target first which had a Starbucks in it so Aunty Jeamie and I got some coffee then tried on heaps of clothes! Didn't find anything to my liking there, but helped pick out some other purchases for gifts!

Then we went to number one jean warehouse and got some coloured jeans and a sweater and shirt! Then we had booster juice smoothies and wraps for lunch (so tastey!) then tried to squeeze in winners before meeting Aunty Janelle for a movie!

My aunties and I went and saw the heat, it was so funny! Even though I already saw it I still laughed heaps! Pretty good movie!

Then my grandparents hildebrandt picked me up and we had a roast dinner at their house with uncle Bruce and Aunty Niki :) it was a lovely evening!

FRIDAY.

Woke up to this smell!

And had my morning coffee with grandma :)

That was one of my favourite thing about this week. I loved getting to just talk with my grandma :) she is an amazing woman and a phenomenal hostess! We talked about Taz, and the farm, and she told me stories of moose, and fox and other wildlife in their yard or golfing, and it was just so nice to spend our little coffee mornings together :)

aunty jeamie and i found a lulu lemon outlet store where we both found items which were super cheap! My $200 jacket was only $54!!! And Aunty Jeamie has a matching blue and yellow one! Mines cream and white :)

After a light shopping trip, we dropped Aunty Jeamie off for lunch with a friend and uncle Chris, uncle cam, and little piper and I went for a uncles lunch date! We had Boston pizza! It was fun catching up with my uncles!

we had a family dinner that night of home made BBQ beef ribs (AMAZING!) ang grandma made red velvet marshmallow whoopies! And we had a mini birthday party for Niya!

The kids (and the adults!) LOVED the whoopies!

SATURDAY.

I got up EARLY AS! Like 645am to go for breakfast with Grandpa at the new A&w in Beaverlodge! The BMI has gotten silly and expensive so all the farmers no longer go there for breaki but go to A&w. it was awesome going out with grandpa for a morning breaki and catch up and just be us and not hundreds of little ones :p hehe

But then I crashed at around 815am and we t straight back to sleep lol I slept another 2 hours then Grandma took me back to Beaverlodge and we did a bit of shopping for the kids! It was pipers spontaneous birthday party that evening and I wanted to get gifts for all the kids.

Oh and we stopped at the beaver!

And took some selfies

And pretended to be beavers...

Haha then came home to tired kids! They were so sleepy and exhausted from too much playing!

But they ALL perked up for the party :)

Here's all the kids and their toys from me

So that was a lot of photos! Hopefully this isn't too long of a post! I just took alot of photos of the kids this week I tried to hold back lol

SUNDAY.

is today :) and I woke up to yet another amazing smell...

Apple pie AND Saskatoon pie!
Lol I like to think it was a healthy breakfast because of all the fruit....

And we went church then made our way to the food court at the mall to have a big farewell lunch with all the Nichols. It was sad but they are all just such cute little kids they kept me pretty happy!

And that ends the Nichol journey!

My cousins are all incredibly special children and I can't wait to see who they grow into being. They all have such beautiful personalities with the sweetest of hearts! And man are they beautiful lookin kids!

Ethan,

The oldest of this half of the grandkids, and the leader by far!
Whatever he wanted to do all the others wanted to do it too. He is so patient and has a very kind and gentle heart. He is quite the young man, and reminds me so much of Uncle Cam!

Avery,

She was just a little squirt the last time I saw her! I feel like she has changed the most out of them all in both appearance and personality. She's a beautiful young lady and is also incredibly kind and patient! (Again, traits of Uncle Cam!) it took a while for her to open up to me but I'm glad she did, and once she did she was my little puppy this week following me around and telling me all sorts of stories! I loved hearing her stories and all the good times we had playing cards, or soccer or any other games. She is an amazing older sister to Piper and an excellent role model for all the younger girl cousins!

Niya,

The oldest of Uncle Chris and Aunty Jeamie's. Another incredibly sweet kid! She was my second little puppy following me around all week but again I loved it! She has great stories and is so smart! She caught on to anything and everything so quick! She is a fantastic older sister for her younger siblings. She has beautiful features and long thick hair, she's stunning in every way! She is so sweet and creative.

Sihlis,

Haha he is so cute! I kept chasing him to get hugs and tickles lol. He's the shy one in the family but is also a very sweet kid. He's a great brother, letting little Everette play with the ball. He's never the first to ask for anything and all he wants is to be loved. (Which is so easy as he's incredibly loveable!) he was a lot quieter than the girls so it was hard to get some play time in with him but I found some and we played soccer and he's fun to make laugh and tease!

Piper,

The youngest of her family. She is turning 5 this week and she lightens up any room she enters. She has the biggest heart and gives the most hugs and kisses! This little one has a very special place in my heart and I can't wait to see how she's grown and changed the next time I see her :) she's also the only one Ethan lets kiss him! Haha that was very very cute! She reminds me a lot of Paige :)

Everette,

My little one! She was the quickest to take a liking to me and when I first met her, uncle Chris said to watch out cuz she will work her little way into my heart! And he was right! All it took was an hour knowing her and i felt like I would do anything for her! Hahaha... She's so cute and incredibly smart and inquisitive! Not quite so quick to give hugs and kisses as Piper, but she does give great ones when she does! She hates to be called cute or funny even though those are my absolute favourite traits of hers! She's very quirky and gives the funniest answers to questions. She's very very bright and very creative, the best colourer of the bunch and also the youngest!

I love my wee little minions and am so happy I got to spend 5 whole days answering to their every need and desire! Haha I tried being grandma for 5 minutes (to hand out ice cream while grandma finally got some lunch after feeding all these little ones!) and it was the most exhausting 5 minutes of the whole time I spent with them!

Any who,

This is much too long now! Hope you enjoyed this post :)
